Valley and Ridge Region
The Valley and Ridge Region is locate between the Appalachian Plateau and The Blue Ridge Mountains. Its physical features include parallel ridges beside wide valleys that are frequently used as farming lands. They region has a cool climate during winter and warm during the summer with sometimes light snow in winter. There are a variety of crops grow in the region and they include: corn, soybeans, wheat, and cotton. Minerals found there are gold, copper, and marble. The animals there are foxes, deer, raccoon, groundhogs, and rabbits.
